What is Journey to Serving (HELPS)
Why is Helps Ministry so Important?

Helps is a ministry not an obligation, an assignment, or a duty; it is serving others. It doesn't matter if you usher, a greeter, in sound/media, work in youth, children's, or nursery. You are serving the Lord Jesus Christ and His Church. You are ministering and helping Him build His Church.
 
I encourage each of you to consider helping us meet needs of the people within the local body where you worship. My dad used to say, "Many hands make light work," and "idle hands are the devil's workshop." If we all assisted in some area it wouldn't be so strenuous on the few. When you become involved, church is no longer the place you attend, but it becomes your church.

Let's serve Him together and be a blessing to others.
